I had the spare sitting in the attic for a while after buying them from a Camaro 5 member in 2010. They had almost no miles on them and I bought them for about $100 each.
Here are some photos of why you should rotate them more often. Plus laying off the burnouts when you can. I'm a little embarrassed how long I let these go.
The install of the catch can is really simple and took about 15 minutes. I'll post an update after the next oil change to show how much it caught.
I guess it was too much of a novelty to have it customized even if no one but me ever sees it. Installation was a easy - raise the car, 4 bolts on, remove brace and bolt on the new one. I need to order some more spacers though becasue my Flowmasters hang a little lower than the stock pipes. But a couple of washers will work for now until I order some more.
Since I wanted to make the DRLs come on at the same time as the headlights I needed to make my own adapter wires. (I didn't know to order the DRL adapter on the website)
Here are the tools I used.

Screw Driver
new replacement bulbs
Wire and T-Tap connectors - I crimped the green connectors on the ends of the wire to make a clean connection to the T-Taps.

I disconnected the original bulbs and attached the first T-Tap to the BLUE wire.Next I went after the Side marker lamps to tap into the power so the DRLs could come on with the headlights. IMPORTANT. the Driver side and Passenger side wires or different colors. The ones to tap into are Driver = Purple wire, Passenger side = Brown. To make life easier I popped out the side marker lights by depressing the clip with the screwdriver.
Then installed the new bulbs. The Male/female connections are not perfect for the new bulbs. they fit snug but do not snap in. so I added electrical tape to just make sure they don't wiggle loose over time.

Results: Before and After. BIG DIFFERENCE - looks so awesome!
I took it off for a week to clean some gunk off. So I bought a JacFab holder. Good construction and simple to put on. I was impressed that it stands away from the body and uses pre-existing bolts for the bumper.I also tried my hand at using Plasticdip on the wheels. definitely a big difference in the sound and you can feel the engine breathing better. the install was relatively easy. A good floor jack and jack stands is a must! the old exhaust came out pretty easy - only tuff part is doing it by yourself!. The kit itself is well built, good fit. I had to add some spacers for between the tunnel brace and the under body to clear the pipes. I plan on getting a better brace later on for a future mod.
