Mod - Custom Stripes

Finally added my stripes this evening! Took my time and tried to make sure the alignment was perfect. I was going for a subtle look with flat black. I had the custom pinstripe strip made to make it look a little more classic.

Performance Mod #2 - Cold Air Intake

ADDED a CAI cold air intake this weekend. The kit was well built and after reading allot of good things about CAI I pulled the trigger. Super easy to install and I like the look. After my trip to College station I realize now that I need to clean the dust in that engine compartment.

Speedo bezel Mod

I did some more work on the interior today. I had bought a speedo bezel and painted it CGM. I made sure to leave the inside of the rings a matte black to reduce some of the reflection.Masking is essential. I'll do the same on the steering wheel later.

Mini Camaro

I also found a Jada Bigtime muscle model and gave it the proper paint job that it should of had from the factory. Disassembling the model was easy and I got some color march duplicolor spray at the local auto parts store.

Tail light bezel Mod

I found a pair of tail light bezels on the Camaro5 website. I lightly sanded them, primed with 2 coat and 3 coats of Flat Black. I think it goes well with the blackout magnet on the trunk. The hard part - getting the original clips to release the bezels. Smaller hands = less profanity + less busted knuckles.

Performance Mod#1

First performance parts - Added my new Flowmaster AT Catback!
definitely a big difference in the sound and you can feel the engine breathing better. the install was relatively easy. A good floor jack and jack stands is a must! the old exhaust came out pretty easy - only tuff part is doing it by yourself!. The kit itself is well built, good fit. I had to add some spacers for between the tunnel brace and the under body to clear the pipes. I plan on getting a better brace later on for a future mod.

I still need to run it by the dealership and have them re-flash the bcm and pdim. But it will be a welcome mod on a long trip.

Trip to shuttle launch

dad and I took a good long trip to break in the Camaro
On the way back we stopped in Pensacola and caught a blue angel. Also stopped to visit Mobile and the USS Alabama.

Baseline Dyno

Baseline the Camaro with Lee's new dyno. Pretty satisfied with the results. HP-353 and torq - 364.

Black out Trunk Mod

I bought this off of eBay. It's a blackout mat that is made of magnetic material. So if I get tired of it I can just peel it off.

Splash Gaurd Mod

Another easy modification. I ordered some color matched splash gaurds to keep the road away from the beautiful paint. Really easy to instal and you don't need a lift.

ROCKET at ROCKET PARK

Seeing how I have access to the coolest place on earth I had to snap some photos of the car in front of Rocket park.

Retro 4 pack gauges

Just installed the 4 pack gauges yesterday. Guess I'll have to find a new place for my sunglasses. Super easy to install and best of all it's plug and play. No programming from dealership.
